Fister from St. Louis, MO has been crushing souls with their bleak and heavy doom metal for over ten years with a brand of music that is slow, harsh, and weighs a ton. Their global touring and collaborations have left many faces melted and eardrums ringing. They have collaborated with Primitive Man, CHRCH, Dopethrone, Norska, TEETH, and many others on split albums and full length LPs. Their latest release is a covers record showcasing influences from Slayer, Metallica, and Danzig to film composer Fabio Frizzi called Decade of Depression. Check them out at fister.bandcamp.com
Fister's Invisible Corpse features pepperoni and bacon buried under extra mozzarella and goat cheese. This brutally delicious slice would make Charles Bronson proud. Despite the blaring amplifier feedback and savage riffs, Fister have big hearts and are donating their proceeds to a close friend's medical expenses from an accident in July.
